Latest News Oh yeah, and as you may have noticed the message board is well and truely screwed, but we've now got an MSN group.....join us.........! http://groups.msn.com/KnowOne 21st May: On 31st of May Knowone will be travelling to two studios in Whitham and Maldon. Witham studio, Called Stag studios (www.stagstudios.co.uk) looks to be our favourite, situated close to Daves girlfriends house. Also the Chinnerys gig on the 22nd June has been confirmed. Its 'School Daze 2', featuring the likes of Silverskin and Cisqo in the Aquarium. Its likely to be about a fiver, but you must wear a school uniform. So it should be interesting... 15th May Okay Knowone have been dead for the past few months but we are soon to be reborn. We have managed to gain 'Capital' for a Cd and will be travelling around soon to look at varies different studies. Itll be a 3 day Job, with 4 tracks being laid down. At the moment the most likely choice of studio is one in Witham. Once that is all mastered and copied we shall sell it to you for a fistfull of coins. Our next gig is on the 22nd of June at Chinnerys. However this is unconfirmed because i cant remember how i know about it. The songs currently in play are Colours On my Own Trust Mand Down One Way Escape Fakin it Friend/Girlfriend Any others have been scraped due to early writing style/not being relevant anymore. Sadly however the days of Knowone.00band.com are numbered. Dom has created his own supercool website that will be being uploaded in the near future onto a co.uk or similar site, so look out for that.
	Old News Thanks to some blagging, we have secured a nice slot at battle of the bands in April at Westcliff. Drum and Bass tracks layed down for half the EP! We have drum and bass for two tracks 'man down' and on my own'. Hopefully we should be getting 'trust' and 'colours' on there too, add some guitar and vocals and hey! an EP... Not Katies gig confirmed! We have a Gig at Chinnerys with Silverskin, Bo Weevil and the Not Katies in april/march (should probably check that one out) ALso Battle of the Bands at Westcliff and another one of Doms 'party' gigs. MOre Info soon.... We tried recording but KnowOne was really interested in getting it to work. Well try again soon hopefully though. If not i guess its a recording studio shrugs We have a date for the supposed recording of some songs! Basically its in the half term week, 15th - 23rd February. We are using only time, effort and stolen equipment to record it so its gonna take some doing. Hopefully you'll like it and spare a few pennys to buy it. Who knows maybe well have to copy more than 10.... Recording Cd soon. Hopefully using just dave and his orgasmic PC. Track listings will include (in no particular order): 1)Man Down 2)Colours 3)On My own 4)Trust 5)One Way Looking around other essex band websites for inspiration and mp3's and stuff to rip off, ive noticed a lot of (silly) bands play gigs more often? Dont you wanna see KnowOne? Hopefully KnowOnes gonna try and blag some gigs soon at places such as The Grand, Club Riga and Chinnerys? Silverskin? Fuck Silverskin. Discorse? There too Heavy. White Leech? There like 12. Listen to the KnowOne sound.... ON Monday 20th Dom and Joe attended a meeting rlating to a proposed youth band CD for local bands. Also in line are Discorse, White Leech and Chasing Chemicals (chaz's band??). Anyway hopefully at least one of our songs will be on this Cd, available free for promotions. If the youth council arent just lying it might get some airplay aswell, and hopefully a good distribution around southend promoters. Recording should be taking place soon but no final dates, bands, or songs have been decided. Also courses are being run on r4ecording techniques, marketing, etc so well be a knowledgable band for once.... Should be a practise this weekend aswell hopefully... The gig at the bar 'n' bus was a bit rocky to start with the p.a system BREAKING and a more than not useful guy trying to work it, but with the aid of sam from silverskins dad running to get a new p.a system the gig was saved just in time for our set =) We enjoyed ourselves and from what we saw of the crowd reaction you guys enjoyed yourselves too! We'll have picture's and a proper review up soon in our new gigs section! Jo's House was rocking despite the neighbours, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Despite not playing for 3 weeks as a band, and going into a gig we did really well mostly only forgetting the structure of our songs. There should be a review and pictures soon. KnowOne badges will be available soon. Depending on what the cost us they will be free, if they cost us hideous amounts of money they'll cost you more. Update! We should be gettint 250/500 KnowOne soon and hopefully they shall be free for you to wear with pride. Depending on produstion time they should be available in January. Only one per person however, why would you need more then one, you fool.



	Street Team We are looking to put together Street teams in various places in England. Promoting the band will be priority number one and arranging gigs would also be helpfull. Free Knowone merchandise, CD's and entrance to gigs will be possible to all our street teams. Interested in joining the street team?
